Joia Rara undergoes a dry fermentation process in sealed barrels for 72 hours after the coffee cherries were harvested. After fermentation, they are set for pre-pulping drying on the cement patio.

This coffee is ranked top 10 in the Cerrado Mineiro Region, and top 60 in the BSCA which covers hundreds of coffees from all over Brazil.
